Plant an Apple Tree, Offset Your Carbon Footprint

While a single apple tree will not solve climate change on its own, planting and maintaining a small orchard can have a cumulative effect. Each effort increases our green cover, moderates local climates, improves biodiversity, and steadily locks away carbon.

Our goal is to grow and restore a flourishing apple orchard on this ancient orchard site. A single apple tree absorbs CO2 and helps balance greenhouse gases. Apple trees also provide food and shelter for pollinators, birds, and small wildlife. 

1. Initial Set-up: There is an initial set-up fee of £50.00 which includes the apple tree, tree support, tree tube, personal identification tag and planting of the apple tree. 

2. Monthly Subscription: Once the tree is planted, there is a monthly on-going subscription fee of £6.00 per month, this provides on-going care and maintenance for the apple tree, mowing, weeding and pruning.

3. Track Impact: Get regular updates on your tree and the carbon you've offset.

Our Orchard is located in the beautiful countryside, approximately 4 miles east of the city centre of Bath. We will be holding community days for planting, harvesting and a good chat!
